He's coming home!
Im not sure if/when I will be able to talk to him for the next few days so I will probably definitely be a nervous wreck. But thats what we Italian women do best.... worry.
Im so happy that he will be making it home for the birth of our first baby - Lola. He's gonna be the best Daddy!

I need a camera!
Im terrible at taking pictures. I love them. But I just cant seem to get it together in the photo department. A few months ago I bought a camera from my little brothers girlfriend. It was a nice expensive camera that she gave to me for pretty cheap. Couldn't figure it our for the life of me. So I sold it on craigslist, and I plan on buying one in the near future that is a little more... idiot proof?
So I am making a commitment to myself, to take TONS of pictures of Lola. Starting the day she is born. I promise!!

Waiting for Lola
My girlfriend Brooke as an aspiring photographer. Well, in my opinion, she is one bad-ass photographer, but she (like most photographers) is her biggest critic. Im proud to say I was her FIRST maternity session. She drove me down to Palm Beach Island and just snapped away. The belly paint got a lot of attention! Each person who walked by either raised an eyebrow, or just oohed and ahhed. Jeez haven't you ever seen a pregnant lady with the name Lola painted on her belly before?? I even heard some european people say "Crazy Americans."
Well, it was well worth it cause the pics came out great. I wish John could've been there to take them with me. I tried to surprise him with an album, but spilled the beans. (Im terrible at keeping a secret.) He comes home in exactly ONE week on r&r. I cant wait.

This is just the beginning
My husband and I just celebrated our 2 year anniversary. 2 YEARS! Time has really flown by. Possibly because I spent a lot of it wishing time would move faster so he would come home.
Our first dance was the most memorable moment I have had with my husband thus far. He looked at me with tears in his eyes. I told him, "this is just the beginning. Things are only going to get crazier from here." Little did I know...
